2010 Asian Beach Games

The Asian Beach Games is a multi-sport event to be held every two years among athletes representing countries from Asia. The Games are sanctioned by the Olympic Council of Asia. The first Games was held in 2008 in Bali, Indonesia, organized by the Indonesian Swimming Federation that was selected as an Honour Organisation by the International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame. The Games were then held in Muscat, Oman in 2010, and were held in Haiyang, China in 2012, in Phuket, Thailand in 2014 and Nha Trang (Da Nang), Vietnam in 2016.

Its 5 km and 10 km open water swimming competitions are ranked among the Top 50 Open Water Swims In Asia and is one of the World's Top 100 Open Water Swims.
