Arseniy Lavrentyev (born 1983) is a Portuguese marathon swimming specialist.

Marathon Swimming Career

Lavrentyev has been competing on the FINA 10K Marathon Swimming World Cup circuit for years. He competed at the Olympic 10K Marathon Swim at both the 2008 Beijing Olympics and the 2012 London Olympics.

The personable swimmer speaks Russian, English and Portuguese. He participated in the 2011 FINA World Championships in the 10K Olympic qualifier in Shanghai, China and is currently competing on the 2012 FINA 10km Marathon Swimming World Cup circuit.

He is coached by Rui Magalhaes, Elio Terrivel and Filipe Coelho.
