Honours
The Open Water Swimming Committee received a Certificate of Merit by the International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame in its Class of 2013 for its contributors to Open Water/Marathon Swimming and was recognized as an Honour Organisation by the International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame in its Class of 2014 for its hosting of the Asian Beach Games and the Southeast Asian Games (or SEA Games).
