The Enduroman Arch to Arc Triathlon (A2A) is an ultra-distance triathlon. The triathlon starts with an 87-mile run (140 km) from London's Marble Arch to Dover on the Kent coast, then a 33.5 km English Channel crossing to the French coast, and finishes with a 180-mile (289.7 km) bike from Calais to the Arc de Triomphe in Paris.
The Enduroman clock starts at Marble Arch, London and finishes at Arc de Triomphe, Paris. Only 52 athletes have ever completed the challenge.
Record Holders
- The overall wetsuit record is held by Lionel Jourdan of France in 49 hours 24 minutes set on 6 August 2020.
- The men's non-wetsuit record holder is Chris Leek of Great Britain in 69 hours 29 minutes set on 2 August 2019.
- On 19 August 2011, Rachael Cadman became the first woman to complete the challenge in 97 hours 37 minutes.
- The women's wetsuit record is held by Jacomina Eijkelboom of the Netherlands in 66 hours 56 minutes set on 16 June 2019.
- The women's non-wetsuit record is held by Jenny Smith of the USA in 72 hours 26 minutes set on 9 August 2022.
- On the 21 September 2015, Grantley Bridge became the oldest man at 53 years old to complete the Arch to Arc in 88 hours 7 minutes.
- The youngest person to complete the challenge was 25-year-old Freddie Iron on 17 August 2015 in a time of 77 hours 17 minutes.
