Applegate Lake

AppleGate Lake is nestled in the rich green of the Rogue River/Siskiyou National Forest in southern Oregon, U.S.A. Applegate is home to many birds, wildlife and several extraordinary fisheries; trout and bass being the most popular. The Lake offers convenient boat launching, day use picnicking, open water swimming, RV and tent site camping, and a convenient general store.

Applegate Lake Open Water Weekend

The Applegate Lake Open Water Weekend includes a 500m, 3x500m pick-up pursuit, 2.5 km, 5 km and 10 km races at a week-long open water swimming festival in southeastern Oregon near Medford. It will be the location of the 10 km U.S. Masters Swimming Marathon-Distance Open Water National Championship on 14 July 2018 organized by Rogue Valley Masters.
