Anton Dimcea Zamfir is a Romanian open water swimmer and member of ROMANIA 2019, a six-person Romanian open water swimming relay that included Paul Georgescu, Andreena Albu, Sergiu Denis Deznan, Ana Nanau, and Alice Gabriela Perjoiu. They crossed the 33.5 km English Channel from England to France on 27 August 2019 in 10 hours 25 minutes with escort pilot Stuart Gleeson and observer Andrew King that received the 2019 Channel Swimming Association Awards for the Fastest Mixed Relay Team and the Fastest Relay Team.
