Anne L. Friedlander, Ph.D., is the Instructor of Environmental Physiology. Your Body In The World, a free online course offered by Stanford University.

Professor Friedlander has been teaching Human Biology at Stanford University since 1997. Dr. Friedlander received a B.A. in Biology from Wesleyan University, a Masters and Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology from the University of California, Berkeley, and conducted her post-doctoral training in the Division of Endocrinology, Geriatrics and Metabolism at the Stanford University School of Medicine. Dr. Friedlander has broad research experience in the areas of metabolism, environmental physiology, and using physical activity to promote healthy aging.
