Andy Davis is an open water swimmer from Connecticut who trains almost year-round at Penfield Beach. He is also the race director for the inaugural Cold Water Challenge, a 5.2-mile ocean swim in Penfield Beach, Connecticut. He is also the Founding Principal of Penfield Search Partners Ltd.

Cold Water Classic

The Cold Water Classic (also known as the Cold Water Challenge) is a 5.2-mile ocean swim in Penfield Beach in Fairfield, Connecticut that was held on 14 May 2014 where he finished second. The Classic was started with an inaugural Cold Water Challenge in 2013, a 2.6-mile jetty-to-jetty ocean swim in Penfield Beach, Connecticut, held in November where the water was south of 60ºF (15.5ºC) and as low as 55ºF (12ºC).
