Andrew Hewitt is an American open water swimmer and a member of the Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming who has successfully crossed the English Channel in 17 hours 55 minutes in 2005 and the Catalina Channel in 12 hours 48 minutes in 2005 and completed a circumnavigation of the Manhattan Island Marathon Swim in 8 hours 12 minutes in 2004.
