Andrew Douglas Gemmell (born 20 February 1991) from Wilmington, Delaware is a 25-year-old American distance freestyle and open water swimmer known for his finishing kick and high Navigational IQ. Gemmell currently swims for the University of Georgia and the Nation's Capital Swim Club. He is coached by Jack Bauerle and Bruce Gemmell.

• Chosen as a men's swimming team captain.
• Named the recipient of the B.W. "Bump" Gabrielsen Swimming Scholarship.
• Serves as a student-athlete (non-voting) representative on the UGA Athletic Association Board of Directors.
• Named to the USA Swimming National Open Water Team for 2013-14.
• Named to the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
