Anastasia Krapivina
Anastasiia Krapivina (born 1994) is a 23-year-old Russian pool and open water swimmer who finished eighth in the 2016 Olympic 10K Marathon Swim on Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro.

Open Water Swimming Career
- Krapivina received a silver medal in the 17-18 age-group 7.5 km race at the inaugural 2012 FINA World Junior Open Water Swimming Championships in Welland, Ontario, Canada.
- She competes on the FINA 10km Marathon Swimming World Cup circuit.
- She won the 39th 16 km Faros Maratón in Croatia.
- She qualified for the 2016 Rio Olympic Games 10 km marathon swim by placing sixth in the 10 km event at the 2015 FINA World Swimming Championships in Kazan, Russia, but she was initially barred from participating in the Olympics due to her previous doping suspension by the Russian Olympic Committee
- She finished 8th in the 2016 Olympic 10K Marathon Swim.
- She competed in the 10 km and 25 km races at the 2017 FINA World Swimming Championships in Lake Balaton, Hungary.
- She finished third in the 10 km marathon swim leg of the LEN European Open Water Swimming Cup in Eilat, Israel on 25 March 2018.
Disciplinary Action
Krapivina was disqualified for 5 months starting in April 2013 for testing positive at the Russia Cup for illegal substances. Krapivina was the Russian champion in the 800m freestyle at that meet. On 21 April 2013, she was tested positive to the substance Methylhexaneamine (Class S.6 Stimulants) following a doping control test conducted with the Russian Swimming Cup held in Kazan.
