United States Virgin Islands (USVI; also called the American Virgin Islands), officially the Virgin Islands of the United States, is a group of islands in the Caribbean sea and an unincorporated and organized territory of the United States. The islands are geographically part of the Virgin Islands archipelago and are located in the Leeward Islands of the Lesser Antilles.
Open Water Swimming
Beach-to-Beach Power Swim is a multi-race 1 mile, 2.25 mile, 3.5 mile event held in United States Virgin Islands' Trunk Bay, named as one of the world's top 100 beaches by CNN in 2013. It is also one of the World's Top 100 Open Water Swims and World's Top 100 Island Swims. It is held on Cinnamon Bay / Trunk Bay / Hawksnest Bay in St. John.
