Alexander Axon

Alexander Axon (born 2003) is a 19-year-old Canadian pool and open water swimmer from Markham, Ontario representing the Markham Aquatic Club.

Open Water Swimming Career Highlights

On 27 June 2022, he finished 33rd in the 5 km open water swim at the 2022 FINA World Championships in Lake Lupa, Hungary at the age of 19.
He competed in the 14-15 division 5 km at the 2018 FINA Open Water World Junior Swimming Championships in Eilat, Israel in the Red Sea.
On 27 April 2019, he finished 7th in the 2019 Canadian Open Water Swimming Trials held on Governors Beach on Grand Cayman in the Cayman Islands in 1:54:50.5.
He won the 1.5 km and 5 km races at the BEST FEST Open Water Swimming Festival in Mallorca, Spain in May 2019.
