Team Poseidon and Team Neptune on 21 September 2019 before crossing the 32.3 km Catalina Channel

Albert Guerra is an American escort boat captain who is the Commodore of the Sea Scouts of the Maui Diamond. He guided two Swim Long Beach relay teams in a 32.3 km tandem relay crossing of the Catalina Channel from Santa Catalina Island to the Southern California mainland on 21-22 September 2019 in 9 hours 54 minutes and 9 hours 55 minutes with the following members on the Mauid Diamond:

• Team Neptune: Sam Fandrich, Mike Tran, Dave O’Neil, Devon Beebe, Fred Gilbert, and Gerry Parker.
• Team Poseidon: Jeff Wheeler, Brian Kelley, Steve Sanchez, Tess Parkhouse, Jose Villa, and Tina Weidenkeller.
