UAE City Swim Series
The UAE City Swim Series offers open water swims in races in Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman. The races take place in the winter season in the UAE, between October and March:

Road to Awareness
Road to Awareness (R2A) is the associate fundraising campaign of Starwood Hotels & Resorts, and has been making a positive difference to the lives of thousands of children since the launch in 2008. Since then, employees throughout Europe, Africa and the Middle East have raised over $5 million for children in need through this campaign. In 2015, Starwood Hotels in the United Arab Emirates began supporting the Al Jalila Foundation with their R2A funds and are collecting donations for the 'Omniyat Dania' project, which invests the funds into medical treatment and research of childhood cancer in the UAE.
