On 3 August 2019, he completed a 33.5 km English Channel crossing from England to France in 11 hours 33 minutes under the escort of pilots Andy King and James King with observer Andrew King under the auspices of the Channel Swimming Association.
On 11 August 2020, he completed a 33.5 km English Channel crossing from England to France in 11 hours 49 minutes under the escort of pilots Andy King and James King with observer Andrew King at the age of 43 under the auspices of the Channel Swimming Association.
