Athletic Club of Ioannina Poseidon or AO POSEIDON is a Greek team that focuses on swimming and running. Founded in 1991, it has our 450 athletes and is located in Ioannina.

Ioannina, often called Yannena, is the capital and largest city of Epirus in northwestern Greece. It lies at an elevation of 500 meters (1,640 feet) above sea level, on the western shore of lake Pamvotis, and 450 km (280 miles) northwest of Athens, 290 kilometers (180 miles) southwest of Thessaloniki and 80 km (50 miles) east of the port of Igoumenitsa in the Ionian Sea.
