The 81K Indian National Open Water Swimming Championships is the longest amateur open water swimming competition in the world. The 81 km race is held in Bengal, India down the River Ganga and Bhagirathi River, ending in Berhampore in Bengal. The competition is annually held in August and also includes a 19 km open water swim.
