St. Vincent's Foundation Swim Across the Sound

From Openwaterpedia
(Redirected from Swim Across the Sound)

St. Vincent's Foundation Swim Across the Sound is a 26 km marathon swim that serves as a charity swim competition (solo + relay) to benefit the St. Vincent's Foundation. The field is composed of solo swimmers and team relays of 2-6 swimmers. In addition to the “Traditional” and University Challenge” team relays, a non-wetsuit category called “Classic” is contested. All the team members in this category must wear lycra-type suits only.

It is one of America's Top 100 Open Water Swims and one of the world's highest grossing charity swims.
