Shams Alam

Mohammad Shams Alam Shaikh (born 17 July 1986) is an Indian open water swimmer and para swimmer.

Swimming Highlights[edit]

  • He won a bronze medal at the 2016 Can-Am Para Swimming Championships held in Gatineau, Quebec, Canada in the men's 100m breaststroke SB4 category and represented India at the 2018 Asian Para Games in Jakarta, Indonesia.
  • On 8 April 2017, he swam 8 km in 4 hours 4 minutes officiated by the World Record Academy.
