SEAL Innovation Team

The SEAL Innovation Team is a group of professional pool and open water swimmers, formed in partnership with SEAL Innovation, iX3 Sports and the Triangle Aquatic Center with the goal of its athletes competing in the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. The SEAL Innovation Team trains exclusively at the Triangle Aquatic Center in Cary, North Carolina and is coached by John Payne.

Coaching[edit]

John JP Payne is the founder and owner of [iX3]SPORTS and the Director of Coaching for SEAL Innovation Team. In addition to swimming collegiately at North Carolina State University, he raced as a professional triathlete from 1988 - 1994 competing at the national and international levels.
