SPAR River Mile

The Redhouse River Mile was started in 1924 by AE Murrell in Redhouse on the Swartkops River in South Africa and has been held ever since. It is the country's oldest open water swimming race. There are a series of activities including a triathlon, running, biking, and open water swimming events. The open water swim is one-mile. Categories include Wetsuit/Disabled, Men, and Women.
