New England Masters Swim Club

From Openwaterpedia

The New England Masters Swim Club or NEM was founded in 1972 and has grown to over 90 teams of masters swimmers located in several states. Some of these masters swimming teams or workout groups have multiple swim sites and swim groups. Membership is just under 1800 members. Our swimmers range in ability from having never swum a stroke to Olympic Trial qualifiers. All of them have shared the same passion for swimming, friendship and competition, a legacy that has led to one of the most recognized swimming organizations in the country.

Hour Postal Swim[edit]

In 2012, NEM won the large team division in the Speedo USMS 1-Hour Postal National Championship, sanctioned by U.S. Masters Swimming.
