Naples Island Swim

The Naples Island Swim & SUP events consists of 7 open water swimming and SUP races of varying lengths in Long Beach, California's Alamitos Bay. The water temperature can range from the mid to high 60s. All race starts and finishes occur between 2nd St. and Ocean Blvd off Bayshore Ave. and 54th Place in Long Beach. Competitors are encouraged to bring an escort paddler, but it is not necessary. Paddlers should bring their own equipment. However, a limited selection of kayaks will be available for rent on the beach from Kayaks on the Water. The Naples Island Swim & SUP is an annual opportunity for the City of Long Beach, known as the Aquatic Capital of America, to showcase its leading position in America as a destination for aquatic competition.
