Megan Rankin

Megan Rankin of UCLA

Megan Rankin (born 25 April 1994 in Taiwan) is a retired American pool and open water swimmer from U.C.L.A. and the University of Florida, currently living in Irvine, California. She was coached by Mark Schubert and was a member of the USA Swimming National Youth Team from 2009-2010 and 2012-2013.

Pool Swimming Career[edit]

  • She won a CIF Division 1 Championship in 2010
  • She was a 2009 All-American in the 200 and 500 freestyle
  • She finished second at the 2009 USA Swimming Junior Nationals
  • She competed in two FINA World Cup pool swimming competitions in Stockholm, Sweden and Berlin, Germany finishing in 6th and 7th place, respectively, in the 800m freestyle.
