Martin Smoothy

Martin Smoothy is a 55-year-old Australian open water swimmer from Mindarie. He is patriarch of the Smoothy Train that includes sons Sam Smoothy and Luke Smoothy and daughters Esther Smoothy and Casey Smoothy.
Open Water Swimming Career
- he completed the 25 km Port to Pub marathon swim in 8 hours 30 minutes in 2016, together with his son Sam Smoothy and his daughter Esther Smoothy
- he completed the Karma Resorts Rottnest Channel Swim in 2015 together with his son Sam Smoothy and his daughter Esther Smoothy
- he was coached by Shelley Taylor-Smith across the English Channel 13 hours in a tandem swim with his son Sam Smoothy in 2015
