Lukasz Kowalczyk is a 34-year-old open water swimmer originally from Raciborz in Southern Poland and living in Northern Ireland who has completed 2 channels in the Oceans Seven.
Open Water Swimming Career[edit]
- Kowalczyk completed a crossing of the North Channel from Ulster in Ireland to Scotland in 23 June 2015 in 11 hours 49 minutes.
- He completed a crossing of the English Channel crossing on 5 August 2015 in his Four Nation Channel Swim in 12 hours 36 minutes
- 25 km Lough Erne Irish Championship on 3 August 2013 in 7 hours 52 minutes
- 16-mile Nough Neagh Cancer Focus Charity Swim on 10 August 2013 from Kinnego Marina to Ballyronan in 11 hours 10 minutes
- 1 km ice swim in 1k Ice swim Wild Water Armagh on 2 July 2014 in 15:27
- Ice Mile in Lough Dan on 14 February 2014 in 31:26
- He will attempt to swim over 60 miles from Dublin to Holyhead Swim in Ireland during 2018.
