Katie Brambley

Katie Brambley (born 5 February 1979) is a Canadian pool and open water swimmer.

Swimming Career Highlights[edit]

  • She participated in the 1995 Pan American Games in Mar del Plata, Argentina where she collected two bronze medals each in the 400m freestyle (4:18.74), and as a member of the Canadian squad, in the 4×200m freestyle relay (8:08.25).
  • She represented Canada at the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games in the 4x200m freestyle relay, finishing fifth with Jessica Deglau, Jen Button and Shannon Shakespeare.
  • She trained with the Pacific Dolphins Swim Club under coach Tom Johnson while earning a bachelor's degree in political science at the University of British Columbia.
