Izebel Sierra Arenas is a 37-year-old Mexican open water swimmer from Mexico City who completed the Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming.

Open Water Swimming Career Highlights[edit]

  • On 11 November 2019, she completed the 32 km Los Cabos Open Water Swim in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico in 10 hours 19 minutes 20 seconds.
  • On 20 August 2017, she won the 28.5-mile (45.8 km) 20 Bridges Circumnavigation Swim of Manhattan in New York City, finishing in 7 hours 10 minutes 45 seconds at the age of 37.
  • On 19 April 2015, she completed a 10 km Swim Miami competition in 2 hours 40 minutes 28 seconds at the age of 35.
  • On 29 April 2017, she completed the 14.4 km Los Cabos Challenge in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico on 4 hours 13 minutes 44 seconds.
  • On 26 September 2017, she crossed the Catalina Channel from Santa Catalina Island to the Southern California mainland in 12 hours 15 minutes 31 seconds, coached by Nora Toledano.
  • On 26 July 2018, she crossed the 33.8 km English Channel from England to France in 14 hours 21 minutes 52 seconds to complete the Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming at the age of 38.
  • In 2017, she completed the 22 km Peru Swimmers in Perú in 6 hours.
  • In 2017, she completed the 14 km Open Water Challenge in Los Cabos, Mexico in 4 hours.
  • In 2017, she completed the 10 km El Cruce in Cancún Isla Mujeres, Mexico in 2 hours 15 minutes.
  • In 2016, she completed the 35 km Por Ellas Somos Uno (brazadas en contra de la prevención del cancer) in 10 hours 15 minutes.
