The International Extreme Race of Winter Swimming (or the Qinghai International Winter Crossing of the Yellow River Extreme Challenge or the International Limit Challenging Race of Crossing Yellow River Qinghai China) is a technically difficult 500m open water swimming competition across the Yellow River in northwest China's Qinghai Province at an altitude of 2,200 meters in Tibetan Plateau, the world's highest altitude swimming race. It is one of the World's Top 100 River Swims and one of the World's High Altitude Swims.
