Harry Raisbeck

Harry Raisbeck (1910-2010) was the president of the Black Rock Icebergers of Melbourne, Australia for 25 years. He joined the Icebergers in 1960 and swam daily at the Brighton Baths well into his 90's. He is the namesake of the Harry Raisbeck Winter Mile, a mile swim in the Brighton Baths in Melbourne, Australia held in 6 or 7ºC (42-44ºF) without wetsuits.
