Frederik Jacques is an open water swimmer who specializes in breaststroke from Belgium.

Records

On 6 August 2005, he set the world record for swimming breaststroke across the English Channel in 2005 at the age of 27, piloted by Andy King under the auspices of the Channel Swimming Association. He swam the distance of 33.5 km between England and France in 13 hours 31 minutes. He received the HBCRT Award for the fastest breaststroke swimmer presented by the Channel Swimming Association. Jacques broke the 14 hour 42 minute existing record of Patrick Ghysel set in 2002.
