Emerson "Emmy" Muñatones Hensley was born 2005 in Laguna Beach, California) is an 16-year-old 5'-6.5" junior lifeguard, ocean swimmer and water polo player from Laguna Beach, California with a 5'-9" arm span.
Water Polo Honors[edit]
- She was a starter on the undefeated SET team that won 2022 USA Water Polo Junior Olympics 16U girls division.
- She played for Laguna Beach High School under coach Ethan Damato that placed 2nd at 2022 CIF-Southern Section Open Division and placed 2nd at 2022 California State Regionals as a 4-5 attacker and set defender.
- She was on the SET team that placed 2nd at the 2021 USA Water Polo Junior Olympics 16U girls division.
- She played for Laguna Beach High School under coach Ethan Damato during the 2021 season.
- She was a starter on the Laguna Beach Water Polo Club that won the 2018 USA Water Polo Junior Olympics 12U girls division. She was the tournament MVP and first-team All-American. The team also won the US Club Championships, Cal Cup, San Diego Cup and other tournaments during the 2018 season.
- She was a starter on the Laguna Beach Water Polo Club that won the 2016 USA Water Polo Junior Olympics 10U girls division. She was a second-team All-American.
- She was a starter on the Laguna Beach Water Polo Club that won the 2016 USA Water Polo 10U mixed division.

- Received Blue and Gold Award for Science in 8th grade

- Emerson has a mother named Stacey Munatones Ballance who played on the USA Water Polo women’s national and junior national teams 1984-89 and a stepfather who played water polo at Long Beach Wilson and University of California Santa Barbara.
- Her cousins Sydney Munatones, Sofia Munatones, and Skyler Munatones, aunt Stephani Sharp, and uncle Steven Munatones all played water polo in high school and college.
- She is related to the individuals who built the Muñatones Castle in Bilbao, Spain. One of Munatones' ancestors was Don José de Mazarredo y Salazar de Muñatones Cortázar, considered to be one of the best Spanish naval commanders of all time who was born in Bilbao, Spain where the Muñatones Castillo is located.
