Elke Hoffmann is an American open water swimmer who won the Rose Pitonof Swim on 19 August 2012 in 5 hours 6 minutes. She also won the 2013 Liberty to Freedom Swim, a 2.2-mile open water swim from the Statue of Liberty in New York Harbor to the Freedom tower in downtown Manhattan, New York.
