[[Ein Mann des Meeres]]: André Wiersig erzählt sein Schwimmen durch die Ocean's Seven (English translation: [[A Man of the Sea: André Wiersig Tells of his Swimming through the Ocean's Seven]]) is an audio CD released in August 2020, co-produced by [[Erik Eggers]], [[Klaus Sander]], and [[André Wiersig]] about Wiersig's six-year journey to achieve the [[Oceans Seven]].

==Summary==

It took [[André Wiersig]] six years to become the first German-speaking athlete to master the most physically and mentally demanding challenge of [[open water swimming]]: the [[Oceans Seven]]. In [[Ein Mann des Meeres]], the German native of Paderborn tells of his adventures in the [[English Channel]], in the [[Molokai Channel]] in Hawaii, the [[North Channel]] in Scotland, the [[Catalina Channel]] in California, the [[Tsugaru Channel]] in Japan, the [[Cook Strait]] in New Zealand, and the [[Strait of Gibraltar]] between Spain and Morocco. Wiersig explains his emotional near-death experiences, his painful encounters with venomous [[jellyfish]] and encounters with [[sea lion]]s, flying fish, [[whale]]s and [[shark]]s, and describes how his global journy moved him to become an [[ocean advocate]].
