Eddie Switaj

Eddie Switaj (born 29 May 1984 in Springfield, Oregon) is an American competitive swimmer, elite triathlete, and an open water swimmer from Mercer Island, Washington who swims for the Puget Sound Masters and competes in triathlons as a professional triathlete for Redmond, Washington-based VO2 Multisport Elite Team.

  • All-Conference first team all four years at Sammamish High School in Bellevue, Washington

  • Earned four varsity letters in swimming in 200y free, 500y free and 100y butterfly
  • Most Valuable Athlete sophomore and senior year of high school
  • Won Sea-King District Scholar Awards
  • First team all-state all four years
  • First team All-American in 2000-01 and 2001-02
  • Placed first in 100y butterfly and 200y IM at 2002 regional championships
