Dorothy Thomas-Reid is an American pool and open water swimmer from Southern California who successfully crossed the Catalina Channel in 2007. The lifetime member of the Catalina Channel Swimming Federation swam from Catalina Island to the mainland in 10 hours 22 minutes.
