Circle move

noun - Circle move is a rarely used mid-race tactic in the sport of open water swimming where a leader literally swims in a quick circle so they are in a new position in the pack or relative to a competitor. It is used to throw off other competitors who are drafting or pacing off the leader who does the circle move quickly and without breaking stroke.
