Chris Deegan is a 21-year-old Australian pool and open water swimmer.


Open Water Swimming Career Highlights[edit]

  • He won the gold medal in the 16U division at the 2012 Australian Open Water Swimming Championships in the Champion Lakes.
  • He finished 8th in the 2018 Australian 10 km Open Water Championship at Brighton Beach on 26 January 2018.
  • He finished 7th in the 32 km Traversée internationale du lac St-Jean in Lac St-Jean, Quebec, Canada in 7 hours 26 minutes 28.30 seconds on 28 July 2018.
  • He set the course record for the 10-mile Kingdom Swim held in Lake Memphremagog, Vermont in 2015 in 3 hours 19 minutes 41 seconds.
