noun - Chicken-Little-of-the-Sea is an individual who informs his open water swimming colleagues that the water temperatures are falling.

Origin[edit]

First used by Lynn Kubasek circa 2013 and named after the folk tale of Chicken Little, a chicken that believes the world is coming to an end. The phrase "The sky is falling!" features prominently in the story.
