noun - A Chas Lap is the longest, most difficult standard unescorted open water training swim conducted in the Aquatic Park vicinity in San Francisco Bay, California.

Course[edit]

The Chas Lap touches the western and eastern boundaries of the area in which it is acceptable for South End Rowing Club members to swim unescorted.
