Sheehan is a member of a 5-person [[charity relay]] that will [[attempt]] a 32.3 km [[crossing]] of the [[Catalina Channel]] in order to raise money for bringing clean water in deep, bore-hole wells to remote village in Africa together with [[Ryan Vinall]], [[Barry Nugent]], [[Bill Monroe]] and [[Mark Dahlin]] in September 2019.
