Bill Slater is an American open water swimmer who successfully completed the Catalina Channel crossing three times in the 1950s.

  • 9 September 1955 (CM) in 18 hours 54 minutes
  • 25 October 1956 (CM) in 17 hours 30 minutes
  • 25 June 1957 (CM) in 15 hours 38 minutes
