The Bali Fight Hunger Swim was a solo charity swim by Monte Monfore in May 2006, a two-way crossing of the 4 km Bali Strait.

Monte Monfore[edit]

Monte Monfore (died 24 October 2017) is a California open water swimmer, former water polo player from the University of California, Berkeley, and a humanitarian who does charity swims in Asia. He also set a masters swimming world record in the 400m individual medley.
