Andrea Varalli is an open water swimmer who swims with the Coney Island Open Water Swimmers (CIBBOWS) in New York City.

In 2014 he has completed the 17.5 miles Ederle Swim from Battery Park in Manhattan to Sandy Hook in New Jersey in 6 hours and 2 minutes and a double crossing of the Strait of Messina, in Italy in 1 hour and 40 minutes.

On August 11, 2015 he swam the 9 miles Auau channel between Lanai and Maui in Hawaii in less than ideal current conditions, almost doubling the projected time and finishing in 7 hours and 40 minutes.
