Amanda (Adkins) Schneider is an American 39-year-old competitive swimmer and open water swimmer from Granville, Ohio.

  • was a 2000 Sydney Olympic Team Member, placing fifth in the 200m backstroke

  • USA Swiming National Champion in 200 backstroke in 1997 and 2000
  • Member of the 1997 Pan Pacific Team in Fukuoka, Japan
  • Member of the 1998 FINA World Championships Team in Perth, Australia
  • Member of the 1999 World University Games Team in Mallorca, Spain
  • Captain of the 1999 NCAA Women’s National Champion University of Georgia Team
