Afonso Quintas is a 58-year-old Brazilian open water swimmer who became the oldest swimmer and the first swimmer in the state of Ceará to complete the 36 km Travessia do Leme ao Pontal in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 10 hours 58 minutes on 27 April 2019.
