ARTSail is a nomadic residency and research program that connects artists with scientists, climate activists, marine experts and responsible businesses, in the creation of artwork addressing how climate change is impacting the South Florida waterways. Originated in 2015 thanks to a Knight Arts Challenge grant, four residents have completed month-long residencies and new residency proposals with emphasis on activism and communication are under review.

Mission[edit]

To facilitate collaborations between artists, marine experts, scientists and activists in the creation of artwork with enduring advocacy value.

Vision[edit]

To move the needle from awareness to climate action.
