チーム野獣

チーム野獣 or Team Yajyu (meaning Team Beast in English) is a 6-person Japanese open water swimming team that crossed the Tsugaru Channel from Honshu to Hokkaido two separate times.

16 July 2014[edit]

On 16 July 2014, チーム野獣 crossed the 19.5 km Tsugaru Channel in 9 hours 19 minutes from Honshu to Hokkaido under the auspices of Ocean Navi, observer Masayuki Moriya, and escort pilot Captain Mizushima of Tappi Misaki with swimmers captain Yamamoto Takeshi (山本毅(やまもと たけし) Kawasaki Noriko (河崎典子(かわさき のりこ), Shima Akira (島晃(しま あきら), Shima Etsuko (島悦子(しま えつこ), Okuda Yumiko (奥田由美子(おくだ ゆみこ) , and Morita Shinya (森田伸也(もりた しんや) .
