noun - Tsugaru Strait Swimming Association is a channel swimming governing body established in 2011 by Haruyuki Ishii to govern and support channel swimmers crossing the Tsugaru Channel (Tsugaru Strait) between the islands of Honshu and Hokkaido in Japan.

Tsugaru Channel Crossings

The Tsugaru Strait Swimming Association has recognized and supported the swims of Penny Palfrey, Craig Lenning and Miyuki Fujita.

The Tsugaru Strait Swimming Association has not recognized the Tsugaru Channel crossings of Stephen Redmond, Steven Munatones, Darren Miller, Michelle Macy, Forrest Nelson and David Yudovin.
